one more warm day.

well, this was the last of the nice weather we're going 

to see for a while here at the Grove.  Now for five 

months full of snow and rain.  Just because the 

weather is drab doesn't mean our outfits have to be!

 This is my "pajama" blouse that i bought in Florida this past June

when i was visiting Kate and i'm just now wearing it.  

 Kate is wearing an awesome combination of black and brown

with the accent of a teal j.crew cardi.

i wore this last week...or the week 

before and was too lazy to post it. 

career fair

our school hosted it's annual Career Fair 

and Kate and I attended.  she wanted to 

talk to any group that might 

interrogate terrorists, i just wanted to 

see how people dressed for it.

Kate and I wanted to make sure we 

stood out among the sea of black

suits and white dress shirts.  

don't get me wrong, nothing beats

a well tailored suit, but for a first 

impression you need to set yourself 

apart.  I wore my favorite J.Crew pink 

tweed pencil skirt with a ruffled, 

neck tie, bell-sleeved chiffon blouse.

Kate wore a classic burgundy striped

Ralph Lauren blouse and shiny nude pants.

both of us wore patent leather nude heels. 

and of course our lovely name tags.

Lazy.

mini vs. maxi

for our outfits today, erika and i both chose skirts...i chose a mini and she a maxi. i've come to love the look of a skirt or dress with boots and no tights. perfect for a warm fall day like today.
