sarah came into class the other day with an

awesome short and boots combo.  this look 

isn't always easy to pull off but she kills it.

the scarf gives a great pre-fall feel and of 

course i love her leather backpack (not shown)

the temperature had dropped today so we

brought out the jeans. i debuted my new 'hipster' 

glasses and kate broke out the new combat

boots. what girl doesn't love a fresh pair of 

combat boots. they just make you want to 

kick down doors and shoot things like Lara Croft.

on this rainy day and very humid day, erika and i displayed our different but equally functional styles. 

Erika chose neutrals with mint accents.

flow

a flowy dress, or in my case romper, embodies the 

essence of girly. why do we love dresses and skirts

that flow and swing when we walk?  maybe because

it mimics hair blowing in the wind, or because there

is something so freeing and non-restricting about it.  

so kate and i embraced that essence of girly for a day.

if only we had a ship to stand on the bow of or a 

hay field to run through barefoot...minus the tics, 

hay allergies and potential snakes.  i really hate snakes.

first day.

this post is long overdue.  

for our first day Erika and i wanted

to keep it simple with shorts and a T. 

we knew that a first day go-to for 

most girls is a dress...

but we're not most girls. 

Erika played her's up with a matching

scarf and belt... 

i played up my T with a statement necklace...

our friends also asked for our help...
